GDF Anansi
GDF Anansi
The Anansi Attack Copter combines air superiority over the battlefield, and close air support for GDF forces on the ground along with Vertical Take-Off & Landing (VTOL) capability, which eliminates the need for runways. Fast and maneuverable, the Anansi has an internal engine Boost [Shift Key Default] for emergencies. The Pilot has lethal firepower at his command including LAW Guided Missiles, and Rocket Pods, to Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. The Gunner can strafe ground and aerial units with the belly-mounted Minigun which has full 360 degree coverage.
GDF Armadillo
GDF Armadillo
The light armoured Armadillo provides rugged all-terrain transport, and some protection from small arms fire for up to five GDF troops and their gear. The Armadillo has a Boost [Shift Key Default] for emergency speed, a Handbrake [F Key Default] for tight turns, Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default], and a center-mounted GPMG Machine-Gun for defense. Excellent for transport and light-recon duty, the Armadillo is not equipped to engage most Strogg combat vehicles. The driver and passenger enjoy the greatest protection, but are unable to return enemy fire. The gunner can attack enemy infantry with the GPMG, while the two rear passengers are free to engage targets of opportunity with their own weapons.
GDF Buffalo
GDF Buffalo
The Buffalo specializes in vertical assault and combat Mobile Command Post reinforcement missions.
Flown by a single pilot, the Buffalo can carry up to four fully equipped GDF troops who can dismount or parachute from the open rear cabin.
The Buffalo comes equipped with a chin-mounted machine gun turret and two door-machine gun mounts.
GDF Husky
GDF Husky
The unarmed and lightly armoured Husky provides GDF troops with unsurpassed speed and mobility on the battlefield. Able to traverse rugged terrain, and shallow water, the Husky features a Boost [Shift Key Default] for emergency speed, a Handbrake [F Key Default] for tight turns, and Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. These all-purpose transports can even be dropped behind enemy lines by parachute to aid stranded troops (requires Vehicle Proficiency Award).
GDF MCP
GDF MCP
The Mobile Command Post is a massively armored command bunker, Mobile Command Post complete with radar post and missile launcher.
Once deployed, the MCP effectively claims the surrounding area for the GDF, acting as a useful reconnaissance and respawn point for GDF troops.
The MCP also acts as a mobile launcher for Strategic Strike Missiles (a short-range armor-piercing weapon capable of blasting open even the most fortified of Strogg strong points). Many GDF operations require securing or constructing a route down which the MCP can be escorted from a safe rear area into SSM range of a Strogg-held objective.
The driver has a bow-mounted machinegun; an optional gunner can operate a roof-mounted minigun to deter infantry or aerial attack.
GDF Platypus
GDF Platypus
The Platypus Assault Boat affords GDF troops in the field an excellent way to cross any body of water quickly. Unlike its namesake, the Platypus is equipped with a powerful motor and an internal engine Boost [Shift Key Default], making it both speedy and highly maneuverable. The center-mounted GPMG Machine Gun is controlled by the Gunner and has high elevation, giving the boat an effective deterrent to both infantry and light aircraft. The Driver can also deploy Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense.
GDF Titan
GDF Titan
The Titan Tank is heavily armored and equipped with an enormous, powerful cannon. The Titan can support two passengers; a driver/ gunner and a MG gunner.
GDF Trojan
GDF Trojan
The Trojan APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) can carry a total of 5 players (1 driver, 4 passengers) and is able to navigate easily across land, water and some rocky terrain.
The Trojan can resupply nearby units with ammo and comes complete with a single mounted MG
Strogg Cyclops
Strogg Cyclops
The massive Cyclops has articulated legs which afford it excellent mobility over all surface types, allowing it to traverse difficult, sloping terrain and make sudden, unexpected, lethal appearances.
At a distance, the Goliath is a lethal opponent for enemy infantry and vehicles alike with twin plasma cannons, although its slow rate of turn leaves it vulnerable to determined short-range attack.
The Cyclops can also hunker down in siege mode to form a turret, reducing its silhouette and offering a smaller target.
Strogg Desecrator
Strogg Desecrator
Heavily armed and heavily armored, the Desecrator is mounted with a powerful rail cannon in its turret and a heavy lacerator in its hull.
The Desecrator in hover mode resembles and maneuvers in much the same way as a huge segmented insect, fast, lethal and terrifying to all who oppose it.
Hunkered down in siege mode, the Desecrator can sacrifice mobility for increased firepower.
While possible to operate the Desecrator with a single player, maximum effectiveness requires both a pilot and gunner.
Strogg Hog
Strogg Hog
The Hog is essentially a scout vehicle complete with a devastating ram charge attack.
Fast and powerful, the Hog can carry a driver and gunner, although the technology of the Hog is advanced enough that a single player can both drive, point and fire the onboard fast-firing anti-personnel weapon.
Strogg Icarus
Strogg Icarus
The Icarus enhances the wearer with twin anti-gravity repulsors.
Using short-burst thrusters to gain altitude, the Icarus allows its controller to pass obstacles at speed.
It's armed with Stroybombs.
Strogg Tormentor
Strogg Tormentor
The Tormentor is an all-round attack machine, complete with enough weapons to effectively damage any enemy unit. The lacerator is particularly effective against enemy infantry.
The onboard strocket missiles easily damage enemy vehicles. The plasma cannon can be used to target and engage enemy aircraft.
However, the Tormentor is only lightly armored and while its four vectored antigravity repulsors let it hover over a target, they also make it a conspicuous target. The Tormentor can be operated by a single player, but it's most effective with a pilot maneuvering it and a gunner operating its weapons.
